Moriah Veg's studio runs a turnkey renovation, from the first plan to a furnished home: working plans, 3D renderings, building permits when they are needed, construction supervision, then furniture, lighting and styling.

She is an architect and an interior designer, so structural changes, wiring points, building materials and finishes are planned together. That is where most renovation surprises start.

Changing a tile, a vanity or a wall on screen costs nothing. Changing it after the plumber has been costs days and money.

What a renovation costs in Israel

Costs swing widely with size, finish and what is behind the walls. Published 2025 and 2026 figures:

  • A cosmetic renovation of a 100 square metre apartment: 80,000 to 120,000 shekels (Bizportal, April 2025).
  • A deep renovation of the same apartment: 300,000 to 450,000 shekels (same source).
  • Cosmetic work in Jerusalem: 3,000 to 5,000 shekels per square metre (Jewish Link, October 2026).

The design and supervision fee is separate, and Moriah quotes it after the first call.

Do you need a permit to renovate?

Many works inside a home need no building permit, and Israel's 2014 exemption rules list more, such as fences and pergolas within set limits. Adding space or changing the outside of the building generally needs one.

Moriah checks this at the start and prepares the permit file when one is needed, as part of her architect and permits service.

Renovating while you live abroad

Owners abroad need someone on site who answers to them. Moriah's construction supervision, and 3D renderings you approve from anywhere, cover that.
